Dr. Christine Louden is a licensed Naturopathic Physician who has been dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health and well-being since 2001. Her practice is welcoming to all individuals seeking compassionate guidance and support on their healing journey.

Dr. Louden specializes in:

• Women's health issues, including menopause, PMS, PCOS, and endometriosis

• Personalized care for mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, and insomnia, offering integrative approaches that focus on natural alternatives and supportive therapies

• Preventative medicine for chronic diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension

• Counseling patients on therapeutic diets and cleansing practices, using personalized dietary strategies to support healing and overall wellness

In her practice, Dr. Louden embraces the naturopathic philosophy of addressing the root causes of health challenges while empowering the body’s innate ability to heal and restore balance. By thoroughly reviewing patients’ health histories, conducting physical exams, and utilizing advanced laboratory testing, she identifies the factors that disrupt wellness and designs individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based natural medicine protocols.

Dr. Louden earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR, and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY. She is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Connecticut Society of Naturopathic Physicians. Additionally, she is trained in Integrative Medicine for Mental Health, which informs her nuanced approach to mental health care.

When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Louden enjoys life in Connecticut with her husband. She stays active through running, weight training, biking, and hiking—activities that align with the healthy habits she encourages her patients to embrace. In her free time, she loves to hike, cook, travel, and read. As a founding partner of Bloom, she is deeply appreciative of the incredible support team that makes the practice thrive and takes pride in working alongside Dr. Hunter and Dr. Terrion, both of whom are dedicated and talented physicians.

Dr. Sharon Hunter, a licensed Naturopathic physician who has practiced in West Hartford, CT for over 17 years, is an expert in addressing health concerns through natural approaches, taking into account your entire health history, and finding connections that may exist between seemingly unrelated health concerns. Working at your own pace, she applies the best of traditional and more current science based approaches to health, focusing heavily on such foundations of health as diet, exercise, hydration, toxicity/detoxification, sleep, nutrition, and healthy gut microbiome.

If you are frustrated by lack of progress with your health; if you wish to explore a different approach your health or want to reduce your need for medications; or you prefer to explore natural treatments, you are a good candidate for naturopathic medicine.
