Policies
New Patients
Your first appointment at Bloom Natural Health will last about 50 minutes. You can expect an in-depth discussion about your health history and health care needs. We will usually order labs during your first visit to be reviewed at your second visit.
Current Patients
Follow up appointments are usually scheduled for about 30-40 minutes.
If you have changes to your insurance or contact information, please arrive a few minutes early to your appointment so we have time to update our records and make copies of any relevant information.
Scheduling
For your convenience, we offer online scheduling. If you can’t find a suitable appointment time, please call our office for assistance at (860) 310-5559.
Cancellations
We require 24 hours advance notice for cancellation of office visits. This notice provides our office the opportunity to fill your spot, which otherwise may remain empty. Office visits canceled with less than 24 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee of $50.00 which regretfully cannot be submitted to your insurance carrier.
Missed Appointments
Please provide us the courtesy of canceling if you cannot attend your office visit. Timely cancellation allows another patient to be able to see the physician. Missed office visits will result in a fee of $50.00 which regretfully cannot be submitted to your insurance carrier.
Fees
Insurance often covers office visits and standard lab testing with your naturopathic physician. Some specialized functional lab testing may not be covered. Your doctor will discuss any additional costs with you before ordering tests. Supplements and herbs are not covered by insurance. We do offer high quality physician grade supplements and herbal preparations for our patients safety and convenience. These items can be covered by health savings accounts and flexible spending accounts if prescribed by your naturopathic doctor. Other valuable services we provide that are not covered by insurance include detox programs, in depth diet plans, and nutrigenomic testing.
